QotD: Food

I used chicken because I was tired of looking unsuccessfully for goat. You can get goat if you go where people from the islands live, but that would be a lot like work.

You roll the roti up and eat the curry like a bear eating a Cub Scout in a sleeping bag.

"You roll the roti up and eat the curry like a bear eating a Cub Scout in a sleeping bag." I've never observed this. I'm presuming you eat the loud bit on the open end first so you can finish your meal in relative peace? Well, aside from the 40 other screaming boyscouts wishing they'd qualified for the large calibre rifle badge. Posted by: Fred at January 3, 2005 04:49 PM
To be fair, I've never observed this. Perhaps Steve H., along with being an avid fisherman is also an aficionado of bear hunting, and therefore has had more chances to encounter 'em in their natural surroundings — the middle of a boy scout encampment. Your method has the advantage of keeping most of the mess enclosed in the wrapper, rather like a burrito or falafel sandwich. Efficiency and lack of mess: bears must be naturally more ecologically aware than humans. Posted by: Nicholas at January 3, 2005 07:07 PM
